Regulations for the Use of Chaves Digital’s Lockers

Preamble

This Regulation defines the general conditions for the use of automatic lockers made available under the BairrocomercialChaves Marketplace, funded by the Digital Commercial Districts Program of the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR). This service aims to provide a convenient and secure delivery solution for purchases made through the BairrocomercialChaves Marketplace, as well as offer users a temporary storage option for personal items. By using the lockers, users fully accept the terms of this Regulation.

Definitions:

• BairrocomercialChaves: Digital Marketplace platform managed by the Municipality of Chaves;
• Automatic lockers: Physical structures located in the Historic Center Parking Lot (Faustino) for the delivery of orders purchased through the platform and for temporary storage of users’ personal items;
• User: Person who makes a purchase through the Marketplace or uses the lockers to store personal items;
• Order: Items purchased on the BairrocomercialChaves Marketplace;
• Access Code: Unique code provided to the user for collection of their order or access to the locker for storage;

Access and Registration:

• To use the lockers, the user must provide the requested information. By providing the data, you are agreeing to the Privacy and Data Protection Policy, which can be consulted on the BairrocomercialChaves Marketplace;
• The user must provide accurate and up-to-date information at the time of purchase or locker reservation.

Service Operation:

The lockers can be used for delivery of orders purchased through the BairrocomercialChaves Marketplace.

Order Delivery:

• When the order is deposited in the locker, the user will receive an SMS or email with an access code for collection;
• The user will have a period of 2 (two) business days to collect the order. After this period, the order will be collected by the seller;
• If the order is not collected, the user should contact the seller in the Marketplace to reschedule the delivery.

Use of Lockers:

• The lockers have different sizes to accommodate various types of orders and personal items;
• The user must ensure that orders are removed from the locker without causing damage to the structure;
• If the seller detects any problem with the locker, such as damage or access difficulties, they should immediately inform the support team through the contact provided on the Marketplace.

Operating Hours:

• Order collection from the locker is subject to the operating hours of the Historic Center Parking Lot;
• During daytime hours, the locker can be used without the need for reservation;
• During nighttime hours, the locker user may obtain a parking lot access ticket, benefiting from a free period of 10 minutes. After this period, payment must be made according to the current pricing of the parking lot.

Prices and Payment:

• The use of lockers for order collection is free during the initial period of operation, and the terms mentioned in the previous section must be respected.

User Responsibilities:

• The user is responsible for providing accurate information during purchase or locker reservation and for ensuring order collection;
• The locker access code is personal and non-transferable. The user must ensure its confidentiality;
• In case of loss or misuse of the access code, the user should contact Marketplace support immediately.

BairrocomercialChaves Responsibility:

• BairrocomercialChaves guarantees the proper operation of the lockers but is not responsible for damage, loss, or misplacement of orders;
• BairrocomercialChaves will not be responsible for delays in order delivery resulting from causes beyond its control, including force majeure, strikes, or logistical problems.

Personal Data:

• Personal data collected for the use of lockers will be processed in accordance with the BairrocomercialChaves Privacy Policy in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
• The user has the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data by contacting support through the channels indicated on the Marketplace.

Final Provisions:

• This regulation may be updated periodically to ensure compliance with new legal provisions or service improvements. Regular consultation of the regulation on the BairrocomercialChaves website is recommended;
• BairrocomercialChaves reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the locker service, committing to inform users with adequate notice.
